1. Technical Management of Turkish Team and Mission Module Work Packages in High Resolution Earth Observation Satellite Program within Thales Alenia Space and Telespazio Project Organization (Current Position since July 2010):
Management of engineering activities at satellite level, monitoring & controlling of satellite technical budget, team coordination, review satellite level specifications and associated documents including ICD’s, generating specification tree, preparation of reviews data package, satellite engineering team attendance, ensuring consistency and completeness of engineering activities, coordination of analyses campaign to support performance assessment and verification process, review of consistency of satellite design and adequacy to mission, preparation and management of verification program plan, conducting verification process, maintaining the statement of compliance with satellite requirements, document and traceability matrix to the low level specification, maintaining verification matrix and verification progress status.
2. Technical Leadership, Control Moment Gyroscope Development Project (June 2006 - June 2010):
Management of engineering activities at component/unit level, team coordination, review system, subsystem, component level specifications and associated documents including ICD’s, generating specification tree, preparation of reviews data package, ensuring consistency and completeness of engineering activities, coordination of analyses campaign to support performance assessment and verification process, review of consistency of the design, preparation and management of verification program plan, conducting verification process, maintaining the statement of compliance, document and traceability matrix to the low level specification, maintaining verification matrix and verification progress status, Construction of hardware in the loop testing environment, CMG sizing, agility analysis, steering logic design and CMG-ADCS modelling in Simulink, preparation activities for all technical reviews and audits, System Engineering Activities, PBS and WBS generation, flywheel balancing, team coordination, contract negotiations, technical reviews with subcontractors (many space companies), strategy development for future projects, mini-RW development.
- Among last 30 projects for 2012 Turkey’s Technology Awards among 212 projects for product and management (winner will be announced in June 2012)
- All WPs completed succesfully within defined schedule (36 months), within defined budgets (80% budget is used only) and achieving all success criteria. More than 1.8 mil. $ saved!
3. Satellite Systems & Design Engineer (1 year), Satellite Systems Division:
Conceptual feasibility report / satellite design study, Assembly Integration and Test report preperation, ADCS model studies. Responsibilities included: writing technical and progress reports and other documentation, for use by engineering staff, management, and customers, analyzing project requests.
