Design and implementation a new version of the Complex Supervisor application, a Deep Space Network (DSN) tool of NASA. DSN is an international antennas network that supports missions of spacecrafts and radioastronomy to explore the Solar System and the Universe.

This application Monitors, Controls and Supervises the spacecraft tracking resources for a specified spacecraft pass in all NASA complexes (Madrid, Canberra and Goldstone). It is capable to handle MSPA (Multiple Spacecraft per Antenna), and Antenna Arrays using more than one antenna per pass and per spacecraft and also to handle several connections with different antennas and different spacecraft at the same time.

Tasks:

Requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing and installation of the Complex Supervisor 2.0.

Write the operator manual and the installation manual documents.

Travels to JPL (California) to test, install and making meetings with the clients.

Functional description:

Develop the Complex Supervisor application in C++ under Solaris 8 and 10 using the Sun Studio 11 and 12 respectively.
