Monitoring end-to-end scientific data reception, production and distribution chain.

In case of anomalies, take necessary corrective actions, applying the established contingency procedures and performing top-level investigation.

EADS Astrium CASA Espacio Ltd –  Madrid, Spain 

AOCS engineer: Design and optimization of PlaVi’s Attitude & Orbit Control System Study of the proposed reaction wheel system of a 3-axis stabilized satellite and full design of its Safe Mode, using Matlab/Simulink.

Modeling of perturbations along the orbit as well as the satellite’s dynamics.

Optimization process to increase the maximum momentum that the reaction wheel system could withstand.

Determination of the Safe Mode procedures. Implementation and simulation of these sub-modes in Simulink.

Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt (DLR) –  Lampoldshausen, Germany 

Thermal engineer: CFD, thermal, structural and life time analyses of thermally loaded walls of rocket engines, by means of Thermo-Mechanical Fatigue tests.

Participation on different aspects of the preparation and execution of the thermo-mechanical tests.

Simulation of the tests using a combination of Matlab and Ansys.

Development of a database adapted to the resulting data.
