Member of Columbus Flight Control Team for the Data Management Subsystem. In addition since December 2013 Cross-certified in TCS/EPDS&ECLSS subsystem.
Certified for real-time on-console work by passing European and NASA practical simulations and theoretical evaluation boards checking knowledge of ISS/Columbus subsystem and operations.
On-console: Responsible for real-time monitoring & control of Columbus' Data Management System which involves coordination with NASA flight controllers. Daily usage of operational products such as Flight Rules, Commanding and Operational Interface Procedures as well as engineering support notes.
Off-console: Involvement in off-line analysis, cross-sectional coordination meetings and product validation as well as developing real-time troubleshooting and recovery plans for multi-element on-board anomalies in close cooperation with ground engineering support teams.
