Report on theory and implementation on control systems used for field stabilization in resonant cavities, including feedback and adaptive feed-forward. Report used as deliverable 7.2.2 in sLHC-PP project at CERN.
2007-2008 Master Thesis, Imperial College London, London, UK.
Study of the performance of Array processing techniques for Space-Time Communications with practical implementation. The performance of subspace-based algorithms for signals incident to an array of antennas was observed using different receiver array geometries. Delivered user friendly graphical user interface and thesis with project final grade of 70%.
July 2007 to September 2007 Racing Green Internship at Imperial College, London, UK.
Racing Green Imperial College UROP placement student programme. Eight weeks in charge of electronic system for hydrogen fuel cell racing kart. Work involved developing an interface between a hydrogen fuel cell, a Li-Pol battery and twin motor controllers for electric motors, as well as peripheral devices for regenerative breaking and driver interface. Project displayed in the London Science Museum on September 2007.
2006-2007 Smart Lights Group Project at Imperial College, London, UK.
Intelligent device for automatic management of lighting in offices. Final deliverable able to successfully detect the presence of people within a given range inside offices using computer interaction, movement and mobile phone signals. Prize winning project £1000 in Imperial College IDEAS challenge 2008.
2005-2006 Energy Storage Group Project at Imperial College, London, UK.
In depth study of several energy storage methods for national grid and home unit applications. Storage systems tackled were hydroelectric double reservoir storage, gas plants, batteries and flywheels.
