  • Successfully embedded and supervised a team at a US Nuclear Power utility in assessing materials, components, parts and maintenance and purchasing requirements on safety critical hardware.

Site Program Supervisor / Test Lab Developer / QA Program Specialist

  • Expanded a US electric Nuclear Power utility’s test laboratory’s capabilities to include qualification testing on components and materials for hazardous locations in their Nuclear Power plants.
  • Certified equipment for use in hazardous conditions in Nuclear Power plants.
  • Wrote and installed a Quality Assurance Program for hardware testing at a Canadian Nuclear Power utility’s test laboratory which met the US NRC 10CFR50, Appendix B quality requirements, and trained the QA Manager. 

PUBLICATIONS:

  • JSC 28035, Program Problem Reporting And Corrective Action Requirements For Johnson Space Center Government Furnished Equipment:  Rewrote portions of this document.
  • Principal Author of IEEE STD 535-1979, IEEE Standard for Qualification of Class 1E Lead Storage Batteries for Nuclear Power Generating Stations.
