I believe my most challenging role so far was the promotion to team leader status. I was in charge of a team of 10 or more people, whilst ensuring that up to 4 different payloads were progressing according to schedule, whist overcoming various problems that arise with each build.

In this role I had to adapt to various new responsibilities, I was trained to use electrical test equipment to test incoming components to determine the faults within it.

Once diagnosed I had to strip the unit, investigate the problem in accordance with the correct documentation, reassemble correctly with replacement parts where required or rework parts where necessary, and then retest to ensure operation and flightworthiness.

I have had to learn various new skill to perform this role, I have become proficient with various wiring tasks, i.e. soldering, crimping, wire replacements within bundles.
