-  Validated and troubleshot electrical systems and components, including radar collision systems

- Implemented environmental testing, set up data acquisition, traveled for the company, worked with suppliers, and delegated work to technicians

• Ignition system failure analysis (2007 - 2008)

- As the lead product validation & test engineer in the investigation of a complex ignition system failure, I developed test instrumentation, collected data (including capturing the system fault origin leading to the solution), analyzed results, updated stakeholders, and presented findings.

•   Radar based collision avoidance system integration (2006 - 2008)

- I became the product validation & test lead in the integration of a suppliers collision avoidance system. I updated and created validation procedures, coordinated and conducted testing locally and at remote locations (including delegating work to technicians), and worked with design engineering departments of both the company and the supplier to fully develop & validate the system.

•   Component test & validation projects (2004 - 2007)

- I have performed environmental, mechanical, and electrical validation testing on several components for the heavy-duty trucking industry. During which time, I became familiar with the programming and instrumentation of various data acquisitions systems to collect test data for analysis, (including an investigation of the use of HALT/HASS testing applications within the scope of product validation testing).

- Drive-by-wire control system integration: Designed brackets on Pro/ENGINEER, set layout for data bus cabling

- I worked in a team that integrated a vehicle control system developed in Sweden into an American designed heavy-duty underground mining vehicle. I planned data-bus cable routing, and both modeled & designed a heavy-duty alternator fan shield and a control system panel bracket.

- Cast tooling process control procedure creation: Through a team effort, I created a process control procedure for the development and procurement of large investment casting gate mold designs.
