Personal Interests & Hobby

An active person who enjoys all kinds of sports and outdoor activities, including but not limited to travelling, board games, building home PCs, networking and sports, such as rugby, squash, and skiing.

Involved in building a hybrid-engine rocket as part of the final year group project. The aim was to break the national amateur racketeers’ altitude record of 10 km, hence winning the bonus price of 100K British pounds steering. Main responsibility was overseeing the structural integrity and materials selections of the rocket.

An individual project was completed, titled “Crack growth analysis in aircraft panels”. Details of crack propagation behaviour of different crack scenarios and fracture mechanics were discussed in the report. These aircraft panels were configured as to the specification from that of the National Aerospace Laboratory in the Netherlands (Nationaal Lucht- en Ruimtevaarlaboratorium, NLR).
