In my current role at Qualcomm CDMA Technologies I am leading the Field Test Team responsible for carrier-specific settings for IMS-related services (VoLTE, VoWiFi, Ut/XCAP).

My position involves:

Planning of mobile phone tests on multiple European networks,

Defining the test-cases and constructing the test plan and test approach,

Getting and studying carrier-specific requirements,

Analyzing of test results and reporting issues (Wireshark, QXDM, APEX, JIRA),

Writing reports to internal and external teams,

Interacting with the Network carriers for resolving issues on both sides (Network and phone),

Studying telecommunication standards (3GPP, GSMA IR.92, IR.51, IR.94),

Managing a dynamic team of 3-5 persons which is responsible for the above activities.

(Obtained) Dissertation Title: “Gravitational Radiation from stellar systems”.

(Grade: Excellent) Development of Myriad, a C/C++ code for simulations of star clusters. Myriad has been developed from scratch and consists of ∼20 000 lines of code and ∼100 functions. It uses advanced computational techniques and algorithms, it includes all of the required physics, and can be used for performing realistic astrophysical simulations on large supercomputers. The code uses the STL library, C++ classes, constructors and pointers, it is accelerated by using the GPUs for the most demanding calculations and is written in a highly modular way. A front-end Perl script is responsible for starting the code on large supercomputers.

Outcome:

4 publications in Astrophysics Journals.

Deep knowledge of C/C++, Perl and of advanced computational methods and algorithms: (Hermite 4th order algorithm, time-symmetric Hermite scheme, symplectic algorithms, etc.)

Experience in CUDA and parallel programming.
