Contingency planning for in orbit satellite failures.
Put restoration plans in place, providing restoration options matrices that could fit a given satellites within the SES fleet, in order to restore as many costumer services as possible in case of a major failure on a satellite. Built those matrices, considering the characteristics and performances of the faulty satellite and evaluated the compatibility on defined key technical parameters (orbital location, polarization, coverage, S/C performances, frequencies...), working first on options within the SES Fleet and secondly on third-party satellites.

Anticipation of DTP Software porting issues in 6G architecture
Worked in the DTP software department, on the architecture, development and new implementation of the Digital Transparent Processor 6G software used for channelization in telecommunication satellite payload. The telecom software application was running on an RTOS, on an innovative hypervisor-based architecture. This particular software is embedded in the DTP equipment in charge of in-flight configuration of channel routing, bandwidth optimization and gain application controlled through telecommand (TC) and telemetry (TM).

Digital signage solution
Built a Digital Signage solution using a Raspberry Pi, that can source its data from a satellite feed using the multicast communication protocol (FLUTE). This successful prototype aims at providing an outdoor marketing capability to display promotional content and advertisements for entrepreneurs in remote areas or seeking a Low-Cost and scalable solution using satellite capacity to send signals over large areas. Performed a complete R&D work, starting with the state of the art of the display solutions and digital signals services, built the prototype and tested it.
