Lead Developer of PlanetServer - the planetary science data node of the Horizon 2020 EarthServer project. PlanetServer is a set of tools comprising a webGIS, a Python notebook and a Python API capable of visualizing and analyzing hyperspectral data. PlanetServer focuses on the analysis of Compact Reconnaissance Imaging Spectrometer for Mars (CRISM) data and Moon Mineralogical Mapper (M3) data.

In my research, I developed a tool using parallel programming techniques to simulate and analyze illumination conditions at the south pole of the Moon with data obtained from the laser altimeter on-board the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter Program. We have used this tool to characterize lunar landing sites for the ESA Lunar Lander mission and the ROSCOSMOS Luna-Glob 2 mission.
Additionally, my research produced new digital elevation models of lunar terrain using stereo LRO images and lidar data.
