CV

After graduating in astrophysics, I worked for 4 years in the field of scientific research, with a special focus on planetary exploration and exobiology. During this time I also pursued a strong interest in the strategic and communication aspect of space, and I joined the Communication Department of European Space Agency in 2003. Since then I define and develop communication activities – events, exhibitions, workshops - to raise awareness about European space activities. During my professional career I developed skills and experience fundamental for this position, such as:

Knowledge of the space sector in order to interact with key players in ESA, national space agencies, European space networks, industries, research institutions and academia, science centres and museums

In depth understanding European space programmes and related scientific, technological, economic, strategic and political issues;

Strong experience in defining an efficient communication strategy to catch the attention of the public according to different target audiences (internal/external, policy makers/specialist community /students/yound generations/science ce,tres and museums/general public)

Expertise to provide content to develop communication material - printed and audio-visual - for European, and national, organisations

Ability to develop events and exhibitions in coordination with PR officers

Capacity to manage events involving various contributors (scientists, engineers, astronauts, external companies)

Expertise to make scientific & technological content accessible and easily understandable by various audiences

I am also engaged in the gender equality issues as I believe in the fundamental role of space for inspiration and women leadership :

- 2013-2016, founder and leader of the the Paris group of the international association Women in Aerospace Europe (WIA-E)

- since 2014, WIA-E Director for Corporate Membership

- since 2015, curator of the exhibition “Space Girls, Space Women”

Coordinator of the ESA projects in partnership with Ecsite – the European Network of Science Centres and Museums - aiming to raise awareness about ESA's space missions and programmes. Topics for 2016-2018:
