Ship Bridge Simulator for Brazilian Navy
Technical leader and execution coordination in the software development of a ship bridge simulator for training Brazilian Navy crew. The software is composed by several modules distributed over a hybrid (Linux and Windows) computer network. The main used technologies and tools were UML, C++, Ogre3D, Qt, SFLM and Sockets.
This high complex and risk project was supported by Brazilian Science and Technology department and resulted in quality improvements and cost reduction of navy officers training.
Coordinated the software development team and participated on scope and requirements definition, software architecture and simulation modules design.
Second Phase of Ship Bridge Simulator and Simulation Technology Transfer
Technical leader and execution coordinator. The objectives of this project were to transfer of the technology developed on the first project to the Brazilian Navy and to continually develop the simulator.
Coordinated the software team and participated on project proposal elaboration within Brazilian Navy. Responsible for designing and implementation of “Instructor Console and Simulation Management Station” module. This module was developed using C++ language and Qt Framework.
Legacy Rotorcraft Simulator Upgrade
Technical leader in recovery and software upgrade of a legacy rotorcraft simulator. Responsible for source code documentation and translation from Fortran and Assembly to C.
Participated on original source code recovery from a 1980's legacy super computer, on code study and documentation, and proposal elaboration for the project's next phase.
