Galileo System design and architecture:


·         Functional and Physical Analyses: responsible for Mission Service Provision (OS, SOL, PRS) and Mission Monitoring functional chains tasks at system level


·         Galileo System requirement management: customer requirement derivation and traceability, Requirement evolution (RFDs, DCNs)

Galileo SIV (System Integration Verification) 

·         Support to AIV activities  (System qualification reviews, participation to VCB process, VCD preparation, etc.)



·         Responsible for analysis of potential applications of laser ranging (classical SLR and Optical Quantum link) to GNSS systems, in the frame of “Applications of optical-quantum links to GNSS” study

·         Responsible for the mission analysis task in the frame of G2G NAVANT Study (2nd generation navigation antenna for Galileo Satellites)

·         Technical Manager of IOCE (Independent Orbit & Clock Estimation), element of GALSEE, the platform to verify GALILEO System Performances; main tasks:

·         Responsible for GALILEO SI&V Navigation Test Cases Definition in Galileo-Only configuration (Orbit&Clock determination, Ionospheric parameters, BGD, Station Keeping, Flight Dynamic)

·         Responsible for GALILEO SI&V Navigation Test Cases Definition in Galileo plus GPS configuration (Orbit&Clock determination, Ionospheric parameters, BGD) to be executed by means of GMS ETE tool.

·         Subcontractor Technical Coordinator of GMV, in charge of Test Procedures definition for Navigation Test Cases, and navigation algorithms definition support for GALSEE DAT (Data Analysis Tool).


·         Responsible for mission analysis task in the frame of “ADS-B via Satellite” study (technical feasibility study of ADS-B using hosted payload on IRIDIUM Next constellation).


·         Technical support for orbitography aspects in NAVCOM LAB of TAS-I.
