From 09/01/2012 until 08/07/2013 I have been working in the GNSS Galileo project in collaboration with ESA (European Space Agency), developing, testing and improving the EOSPF software for Galileo navigation messages generation using fault free and feared events simulated scenarios. For these tasks the IOV and FOC1 configuration were used. In the last months, one real data scenario was provided in order to test the accuracy of the actual constellation.
During this time period I have made several management tasks such as: attend to several key points meetings with the client, discussion of new improvements for the algorithms or distribution of the tasks among the team people.

Final project for the master
“New designs for electrodynamic tethers”. It was accomplished in Tecnalia Research & Innovation, directed by Francisco Estensoro.
This project was made for the BETs project (The bare electrodynamic tethers Project, http://www.thebetsproject.com/)
Internship at Tecnalia
I accomplished 6 months of internships in Tecnalia, mainly developing designs for new Tethers, making the study if the state of the art and bibliography, in order to have a better comprehension of the area and be able to accomplish with the requirements. Later, a complete study of the materials was made for the thether and the mooring to be able to bear torsions, rusting, tensions, etc. Finally, some lab testings’ were made with different samples for ensuring the design and reliability.

The final project entitled “Research of the atmospheric waves in Saturn using images from Cassini spacecraft” was made in collaboration with the department of applied physics of the Engineering School of Bilbao, directed by Dr. Ricardo Hueso Alonso.
