Electronics Systems provides custom engineered electronic solutions for military, aerospace and commercial applications which includes motion control, military ground vehicle management, power management and high speed communications.
Responsible for the fabrication and modification of limited edition, custom electronics enclosures for the test of power management and communications processors for the Global Hawk UAS, BAMS & IATS UAS, HELRAS and Stauder Strikelink programs.
Implemented the build and assembly of special test equipment (STE), electronic and mechanical layout and wiring, cable fabrication, cable harness management and in-process modifications as required. Also regularly involved with in-house company initiatives such as the program to install custom automatic wireless sensor/shutdown system on company environmental test chambers to prevent over-temp damage to customer owned flight system computers and modules under test.

Gyro Stabilized Camera Systems
N.S.I. is an industry leader in ultra-precision, gyro-stabilized television and movie camera mounting platforms.
Required to perform work on a variety of complex electronic sensors, actuators, and motors combined into a system which removes all angular disturbances from the filming process.
Responsible for the upgrade, repair and modification of the company’s precision 5-axis, high-bandwidth, motion stabilized production units – including the fabrication of custom wiring harnesses, Hi-Def wiring conversions, various PCB modification and cabling upgrades.
Worked to supply gyro stabilized units to high profile film and television clientele which includes the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics, Goodyear Airship Div. and Aerial Camera Systems in the United Kingdom.

Responsible for coordination and implementation of various DoD (DARPA) advanced program prototype development projects. Directly responsible for coordinating electronic and mechanical prototype fabrication and operational test qualification.
Test Engineering- Involved with test engineering efforts for final electronic and environmental qualification testing for various program projects such as P1196 (Millennium), STSS, F-22 Raptor (CIP), F-16 EFCC upgrade, the F-15 and F-18 radar/signal processor upgrade.
AACER Program – Ka Band (AESA version)
Responsible for all prototype hardware production for next generation airborne ground mapping radar unit. The AACER millimeter-wave radar will utilize an AESA type antenna for ground mapping capabilities. This
program is presently in development and expected to exceed the performance of its predecessor, the A160.
A-160 Program – Ka Band (VICTS version)
Implemented prototype airborne R.F. interface, control electronics, GPS unit interface, all interface cabling and motion control stages for control of the VICTS antenna and data acquisition.
F-22 Raptor – Common Integrated Processor
Final full system electronic and environmental testing of the F-22 Common Integrated Processor with regard to SOF (Safety of Flight) requirements. Concurrently responsible for the modification and system test of the ground based radar units developed for the MISPE program.
E2D Hawkeye Program
Produced several sets of developmental hardware test units, power supplies and the requisite interface cabling for electronic modules used on the E2D surveillance aircraft.
General Motors Hughes Electronics (GMHE) (1987--1997)
Delco Electronics (Hughes Research Labs - Malibu)
Developed, configured, and fabricated a successful working model of a 3kw flywheel power inverter (battery augmentation) for use on the EV-1 electric car research project.
Worked on the development, integration, and road performance test efforts for the Delco Electronics automotive crash avoidance radar program. This effort also included the implementation of the rear and side detection radar sensors, the requisite interface units and wiring.
Responsible for the interface and package design, implementation and installation of the main power distribution modules (PDM’s), as well as laboratory and field testing of various yaw sensors, angular rate sensors and accelerometers for use in crash avoidance and rollover detection.
Duties included repair, maintenance, unit upgrades, environmental test and corresponding documentation upgrades of the APG series SAM modules for the F-14, F-15 and F-18 radar processors.
Managed the Radar Processor Production and Upgrade Lab - responsible for the work assignments of lab employees, procurement of replacement parts, materials, tooling and the upgrade of all existing documentation.
Training and Support Systems Group
Participated in all phases of the fabrication, integration, on-site installation and engineering upgrade efforts for the Hughes (2E7) F-18 Weapons and Tactics Trainers.
Specialized in mechanical and electrical installation of the various cockpit avionics (video) display systems (MDI’s, HUD, Digital Map, threat warning panels, standby instrumentation, system harness build, installation, modification and management, cockpit lighting for both normal and night vision operating modes.

Development, production, and test efforts for digital programmable Target Gate Generators (ground based radar STE) and for the Space Shuttle (Ku Band docking radar), radar data and signal processors for the
F-15, F-18, Space Shuttle (Ku Band docking radar), F-22 CIP, and B2 Radar processor development programs.
