Summary of Qualifications

An accomplished leader in the space community with 12 years of International and Domestic customer relations and management experience. Representing a blend of different mission areas to include: Command and Control, Missile Warning, Space Surveillance, and Offensive Counterspace. Highly skilled and self motivated individual with a Top Secret clearance willing to relocate. Counterspace Systems Operator                               02/2010 – Present

  • Execute all operations, reporting, and administrative tasks as member/supervisor of Counter Communications System crew.
  • Rapidly achieve flexible and versatile space superiority utilizing special one of a kind counterspace communications system.   
  • Supported leadership by assessing and managing staffing and resource requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise in support of proposal development activities with teammates to provide solutions to personnel/procedural issues. 

Upgraded Early Warning Radar Operator/Staff Instructor                       01/2009 – 02/2010

  • Provided on-site analysis to Missile Warning Center and Joint Space Operations Center.
  • Trained multi-national forces resulting in Combat Mission Ready crew force.
  • Contributed to the planning, testing and integration of brand new weapon system’s upgrades and mission enhancements.
  • Developed lesson plans, training materials, simulation scenarios and certification tests as lead instructor. 

Dedicated Space Surveillance Radar Operator/ Ops Scheduler/ Staff Instructor               05/2005 – 01/2009

  • Managed 24/7 operations providing surveillance and reporting on over fifteen thousand satellites.
  • Led a seventeen person military and government civilian work force.
  • Provided NASA with conjunction analysis for the international space station.
  • Coordinated preventive maintenance actions between various controlling agencies.
  • Tested/provided training on and implemented new 3-D satellite orbit modeling training software.
  • Created/managed duty schedules for 35 operators through deconflicting mission requirements with training, evaluation, & preventive maintenance.

Space Surveillance/Missile Warning Radar Operator                07/2004 – 05/2005

  • Provided on-site analysis to Missile Warning Center and Joint Space Operations Center.
  • Detected, tracked, and recorded data on over eight thousand high-interest satellites, new foreign launches, and domestic launches as well as re-entry objects, and breakups.
  • Supported leadership with prioritization, contingency operations and maintaining security. 

Satellite Command and Control Operator/Instructor                     08/2000 – 07/2004

  • Performed command and control, anomaly resolution and routine maintenance for eighteen communications satellites.
  • Detected and resolved data link and ground systems anomalies.
  • Hand selected because of proven skill and ability to implement commanding pass plan procedure for 2 DSCS launch and early orbit operations. This is a five day process to move a satellite through Low Earth Orbit to Highly Elliptical orbit and then out to the Geostationary position.
  • Developed lesson plans, training materials, simulation scenarios and certification tests.
  • Performed all pre-pass, trans-pass, and post-pass actions on entire constellation for “cradle to grave” operations.
