I am graduated in Aerospace Engineering at University of Pisa (5 years of university courses) and I  got the professional habilitation as Industrial Engineer by University La Sapienza in Rome. I am currently a PhD student in Physics and Physic Technologies for Space Applications at the University of Perugia (I expect to discuss my thesis between December 2013 and February 2014).

My 2-years work experience is focused on qualification testing (with particular attention to automotive and Space applications) and design and construction of machines (specially for testing).

In particular, I have experience as conductor and/or supporter for the following tests:

-          Thermo-vacuum

-          Thermal

-          Vibration

-          Pyroshock

-          Inertia measurements

-          Drop

-          Ship motions

-          Sand and dust

-          Rain


I designed and participated in construction for the following test machines realization:

Thesis title: "`Design of an inertia-tensor measurement equipment for space payloads application"'.

Thesis work description: the work consists of the design and construction of a machine able to measure mass, centre of gravity position and inertia tensor 3x3 matrix of satellite components, with particular attention to scientific experiments. The first part of the study is an analysis of the state of the art, follows a modeling and simulation phase (CAD, multi body, finite element), a post-processing phase (signal analysis, statistical treatment through Matlab), the construction of the machine and a test campaign.
