Analysis of simulated ICESat–2 LiDAR data to develop an algorithm to reduce measurement and solar background noise, and to identify and delineate ground, mid– and top–of–forest canopy traces in photon ranging data, to estimate canopy height and forest biomass. Attend meetings and teleconferences covering: launch vehicle selection, orbits, schedules, budget, etc.
