    • Degree in Aerospace Engineering with focus in elasticity and structural analysis with FEA using Abaqus.  Also have experience in aeroelasticity (flutter analysis with Astros), aerospace structures, flight dynamics, compressible and incompressible flow, composite materials, propulsion, conduction heat transfer, and linear modeling with SAS and SPSS.

    • Degree in Physics with focus in classical and quantum mechanics, kinematics, solid state physics, electricity and magnetism, thermodynamics, optics, as well as computational and observable astronomy. 
    • Minor in Mathematics with experience ranging from calculus I, II, and III to differential equations and linear algebra.

 

Work Experience

  • Research and Development Internship Pressco Technology, Inc. May 2011 – August 2011
    • Carried out performance analysis using the Intellimass system, an electronic bottle sectioning system that measures the material distribution of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles using infrared sensors.  
    • Analyzed sensor position and strength of the Intellimass system to establish maximum efficiency for mass measurement.
    • Performed data analysis and scaling for mass measurements for companies including Yoshino America Corporation and PepsiCo.
    • Received in field experience at PepsiCo Factories in Urbandale, Iowa and Piscataway, New Jersey using the Intellimass system and making corrections for bottle analysis for PepsiCo.

 

  • Ropes Course Facilitator US Space and Rocket Center May 2010 – August 2010
    • Fostered a safe and healthy environment for diverse groups of participants while looking after the safety of each participant.
    • Facilitated an understanding in leadership, teamwork, as well as group dynamics.
