Program Manager/Project Engineer/Design Engineer                                                                                                                 

­Work directly with customers, business development and program management to develop system-level requirements, define mission profiles, develop concept of operations, and identify success vs. failure for product testing and development.

­Work with and travel to outside suppliers and customers to demonstrate products and concepts.

­Cost estimating and coordination of project team funding and technical tasks.

­Technical lead on internal and external projects from concept through production.

­Produce and maintain planning, technical data and documentation.

­Product lifecycle from concept, design and successful testing of large scale rocket motors.

­Trajectory design, simulation and optimization on various concepts and ATK proprietary systems using POST 3D.

­Aerodynamic analysis of systems using TetrUSS.

­Models and concepts drawn using I-DEAS, manufactured based upon drawings, performed static and dynamic tests to confirm accurate assumptions and predictions.

­Gained thorough understanding of real-world systems and how they compare to theoretical systems.

­Continuation of academics and involvement in complex, analytical designs and systems.

Process Integration and Test Engineer                                                                                                                                         

­Integrated design, test, and manufacturing engineering to the manufacturing process of Minuteman III ICBM’s in the Insulation and Liner Group

­Thorough knowledge of solid rocket motors and the processes necessary to design and build internal components.

­Wrote manufacturing and test plans to incorporate drawing/blueprint revision changes and implement new tooling ideas for both the Minuteman ICBM and MNASA programs.

­Created tool drawings/blueprints and manufacturing sketches using I-DEAS Cad/Cam software, wrote code and programmed CNC machines based on these drawings.
