System Engineering Manager: Managed employees (31) and first-level managers performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Power and Harness Systems Engineering. Developed and executed integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provided input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives. Acquired resources for department activities, provided technical management of suppliers and lead process improvements. Developed and maintained relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provided oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Managed, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers.

Satellite Power/Harness Sub-Systems Engineer LEAD: Responsible for power subsystem and unit level requirements/specification flow down, contributing to subsystem engineering design reviews, validation of requirements through analysis, review of unit test procedures, data buy-off, unit/subsystem sell-off, identify and resolve technical issues within the spacecraft power subsystem, bus subsystem test, electrical power hardware/subsystem performance; and support of on-orbit mission operations. Power Budget Analysis. Trade analysis. Developing, documenting and maintaining processes (First Pass Yield for EPS SE), methods and tools (Harness Analysis Tools Lean Effort); resolves technical problems that affect system cost, schedule and performance (EPAR Resolution). Experience with Harness and T&C Digital SS. Experience with 702HP, 702MP, GEO-Mobile, GOES, 601HP, 601, TDRS programs/productlines.

Li-Ion Power Subsystem Bench Test LEAD: Led a team of representatives from all areas affected to perform the subsystem test using flight-like hardware, software and test equipment to mitigate the risk of having a problem on the flight spacecraft in the high bay, or even worse on-orbit. The team included representatives from the battery and electronics units, system engineering (power, harness, T&C, and ACS), system test engineering, system test equipment, system safety, and the Boeing fire department to ensure safety for all.

LEAN PROJECT LEAD: Satellite Thermal Subsystem Heater Test Reduction Effort: Led a Lean Project which reduced the test cycle time of satellite heaters and saved the company of ~$150K/year from test time alone.

IR&D Project 207 System Engineering LEAD: Helped lead the IRAD PROJECT 207 (2010) from a system engineering point of view. Worked with the various EPS unit areas to obtain key project information and incorporate it into the final deliverable package to our internal Boeing customer (Chief Technology Officer).

CIEL/NEW BUSINESS ACTIVIITES: Lead the effort to put together an enhanced version of our new EPS subsystem business tool for the CONCURRENT INTEGRATED ENGINNERING LAB efforts. This included a standardized power budget. (2010).

ON ORBIT ANOMALY SUPPORT MEMBER: Have supported various on orbit issues and noted conditions in the last several years. Currently on staff to support TDRS specific on orbit question/concerns.
