“Investigation of transient flow in fuel supply systems of small thrusters”

DLR (German Aerospace Center), Institute of Space Propulsion. Site Lampoldshausen, Germany.

Numerical simulations and model validation of water hammer and transient flow in liquid rocket engine feedlines. EcosimPro software was widely used and brand new components were created editing built-in library and models. This research project was carried out in cooperation between DLR and EADS Astrium.
