WORK EXPERIENCE -

Set 15 – Present: Electronic Engineer

Location: ESA/ESTEC, Noordwijk (The Netherlands)

Currently working in Power and Energy Conversion division, Power Storage section.

Main tasks: Support in test facilities such as energy storage, solar generator, high voltage and electrical power laboratories. Preparation and instrumentation of test setups from operator side until test samples, including maintenance and monitoring. Hardware assembly from instrumentation to circuitry.

Projects: BepiColombo battery check and storage, eSail battery testing, Euclid battery and solar cells, JUICE solar cells, thermal cycling JPL antenna, 3G30 solar cells diode life test, ESEO solar panel characterization, Quantum battery testing, High Voltage PCB breakdown test, Coin Cells characterization.

Courses: spacecraft systems engineering, electrical policy nomination, high and low temperature electronics.

Fev 13 - Feb 15: Trainee

Location: ESA/ESTEC, Noordwijk (Netherlands).

Worked in Mechatronics and Optics division, Optoelectronics section.

Main project: Detector Characterization Facility;

Main tasks: Design, assembly and setup an automated system to characterize CMOS and CCD detectors. The setup consist in a high uniform (>99%) light source using an integrating sphere to illuminate detectors located in a three stage axis. The detectors are characterized by quantum efficiency, linearity, non-uniformity, memory effect, noise and dark current with a wavelength range from 280 to 1100 nm. The controllers and stages are controlled via Python.

Jan 12 - Aug 12: Research

Submitted paper: Fully Integrated Switched Dual-Band CMOS LNA for 802.11b/g WLAN and WiMAX applications;
