SYSTEMS ENGINEER
Lead the design, installation and calibration of the Dream Chaser spacecraft instrumentation. Coordinate across systems to ensure the instrumentation plan for each vehicle meets the program requirements. Chair the Instrumentation Control Technical Panel that reviews and authorizes the instrumentation plans. Cognizant Engineer for the Instrumentation, Audio, and VHF functions.
 
* Instrumentation Lead for the Dream Chaser Engineering Test Article (ETA) Approach Landing Test 2 (ALT-2) Flight Test Campaign to be conducted at the NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center. Lead the hardware selection, procurement, test, installation, and calibration of the spacecraft’s instrumentation.
* Instrumentation Lead for the Dream Chaser Space System (DCSS) vehicle. Lead the coordination across systems to select and integrate the more than 1,500 sensors required to operate and certify the spacecraft. Lead the selection and implementation of all the instrumentation hardware.
* Instrumentation engineer for the Dream Chaser Engineering Test Article (ETA) Approach Landing Test 1 (ALT-1) Flight Test Campaign conducted at the NASA Dryden Flight Research Center. Ran instrumentation and RF hardware checkouts, calibrated instrumentation sensors, and supported console operations. 
 
Wyle – NASA Johnson Space Center, Houston, Texas (2012-2013)
BIOMEDICAL & RESEARCH ENGINEER
Developed and integrated custom engineering hardware used for scientific research. Operated, maintained, and troubleshot hardware, instrumentation and software applications. Conducted research experiments and performed data collection, reduction and analysis. 
 
* Provided critical troubleshooting of a 6 degrees of freedom motion simulator used for an on-going research study with astronaut subjects. Diagnosed and repaired several hardware components, including encoders and servo motors, and performed verification testing.
* Coordinated all aspects of research ground studies, including hardware and software development, experimental design, subject recruitment, and data collection and analysis.
* Developed and integrated custom hardware and software used as a benchmark for an upcoming research experiment to be conducted on board the International Space Station. Tested this instrumentation in a NASA Zero-G parabolic flight campaign. 
 
United Space Alliance – NASA Johnson Space Center, Houston, Texas (2007-2012)
SYSTEMS/OPERATIONS ENGINEER
Motion Control System Specialist in the International Space Station (ISS) Program. Provided technical and operational expertise as Subject Matter Expert in the ISS attitude control and inertial navigation systems. Provided console support in the Space Station Training Facility and the Mission Control Center.

* Conducted formal verification and validation of new flight software revisions and led acceptance testing. 
* Analyzed ISS systems telemetry to assess vehicle health and status and to identify and resolve hardware and software problems to ensure crew and vehicle safety.
* Performed over 2,000 hours of on-console work to support the development and execution of international simulations used to prepare Space Shuttle and ISS astronauts and Flight Control Teams. 
* Negotiated technical agreements and facilitated international relations with the Russian Space Agency to integrate the American and Russian ISS Motion Control Systems.

MECHANICAL AND OPTICAL ENGINEER
Managed and supported operations of a state-of-the-art optical metrology laboratory. Achieved on-time production and ensured that products met customer quality specifications. Operated and troubleshot optical instrumentation and developed custom analysis software.
