“Definition of an innovative LOX-LCH4 engine architecture for the evolution of the Vega launcher.”
 
The activity was focused on two different aspects: a sensitivity analysis concerning the thrust chamber optimization and a trade-off study, with the objective of comparing different engine configurations, thermodynamic cycles for liquid rocket engines and turbopump feed system arrangements, in order to find the best configuration for the enforced requirements.
