Mission Analyst at Thales Alenia Space Italia, Turin (Italy)

6-month internship, aimed at developing and optimizing mission analysis strategies that will be applied to space trajectories. Some of the projects analyzed were ExoMars2018 and STRONG (a study research for a space tug).

2013 - 2014

Polytechnic University of Turin (Italy): part-time collaborations for students

ACADEMIC PROJECTS AND EXPERIENCES

2013 - 2014

Team D.I.A.N.A.

Active member of the D.I.A.N.A Team, the student’s team at Polytechnic of Turin involved in the design and realisation of a lunar rover for the Google Lunar XPRIZE: my subgroup was concerned with the thermal analysis of the spacecraft and the study of methods to manage heat both emitted and received by the rover.

2013

PLACIS project

Project carried out in collaboration with Polytechnic of Turin, Alenia Aermacchi and Supméca University (Institut Supérieur de Mécanique de Paris) in order to develop an anti-ice system for a new model of trainer aircraft.

2011 - 2014

Member of the directive board of AESA Torino

It is the aerospace engineering student’s association of the Polytechnic University of Turin. The goal of the association is to raise student interest towards aerospace topics, arranging visits to aerospace industries (such as Airbus, Agusta Westland, Thales Alenia Space), tours of important research centres (like ESTEC, EAC, LARC) and conferences with both Italian and foreign lecturers.

 

SKILLS AND COMPETENCES

IT skills

Very good command of Microsoft Office™ tools (ECDL certification obtained in 2006)

Good command of MATLAB, STK, CATIA V5, MSC Nastran/Patran

Basic knowledge of Fortran, C, MSC Adams, Simulink, GMAT
