MOTIVATION LETTER 

My university studies and work experience provided me with knowledge and skills in mechanical design, assembly, integration and test. I am an expert in trade-offs between different design alternatives considering the different materials, manufacturing and processes. I performed the design of accurate structures, structural analysis, manufacturing and verification. I managed activities of space projects such as risk assessment, task management, cost control, team management and schedule planning. I have consolidated skills in assembly and integration methods for mechanical structures and mechanisms. I performed qualification and acceptance test campaigns for flight hardware of subsystems. My responsibilities also included the elaboration of design and development plans.

I have more than 9 years of experience in a space field, working in the companies called Arquimea Ingenieria and LIDAX. I took the role of the financial and schedule control of space projects for the developing the space actuator devices based on SMA technology. I was the head of the space actuator group of Arquimea Ingenieria and I was in charge of the actuators production. I have been the project manager of two R&D projects of the European Space Agency. I was the technical coordinator of a European project in the frame of H2020 program. I have been AIT manager for MeteoSat Third Generation Telescope Optics developing schedule control, team management, supervision of AIT activities and performing test campaigns. These projects were developed in an international environment in which a high level of English language is mandatory. Moreover, I was associated professor of Carlos III University holding lectures in English language.

I am currently the head of the AIT group of LIDAX. My responsibilities include the management and development of AIT capabilities in order to provide service to the projects and R&D activities of the company.
