    Summary of qualifications


    Exceptional knowledge and experience at providing technical and operational support for VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal) Hubs and remote terminals.    Experience maintaining, aligning, peaking, crosspoling and tuning (in accordance with satellite standards) .5 to 5 meter parabolic antennas.  Hands-on involvement with system monitoring, remote terminal commissioning, routine preventive maintenance, customer problem tracking, and network problem resolution in all aspects of networking integral to VSAT Baseband, IF, and RF Communications.

    Considerable knowledge and experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD), North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), Space Transportation Systems (STS), and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) satellites and payloads.  Broad knowledge of satellite pre-flight systems compatibility testing, launch and real-time TT&C support functions.

    Experienced at installing, restoring and administration of Windows/Microsoft, DOS, iRMX, INGRES, VAX/VMS, SQL, SNMP and UNIX software/database disciplines with knowledge of proprietary database applications and word processors.

    Proficient in the use of;  protocol analyzers, data scopes, spectrum analyzers, sniffers, oscilloscopes, firebirds, frequency counters, synthesizers, power meters, volt/ohm/db meters, amplifiers, attenuators, chart recorders, desktop/rack-mount computers and numerous desktop applications.
