    SRF - Responsible for Short & Medium Range Weather forecasts and Nowcast for PSLV & GSLV launch operations over SHAR region.

    Daily Execute the Weather Research Forecast (WRFARW) model for short range forecast over SHAR region as well as south peninsular India.

    Weather forecasting for SHAR & Neighborhood region by using different Numerical models like ECMWF, UK MET models, and its validation with observational data  (GPS).

    Real time Prediction of Thunderstorms and Mesoscale convective complexes (MCC) over Sriharikota and its neighboring  places by using different Mesoscale models.

     Characteristics of different jet streams and its influence over SHAR and South peninsular India.

    Severe weather watch during critical launch operations by using Real time Doppler Weather Radar,  Electric Field Mill, 100m&50m Tower data and passive microwave radiometer observations.

    Previous Professional Experience:

    Experience in the Medium & short range cyclone genesis and track forecasts in Bay of Bengal, more than 10 cyclones since 2007 including recent cyclones- PHAILIN, LEHER, HELEN, MADI, MAHASEN, NELAM, THANE and HUDHUD.

    National conference on “Basics of Radar and Satellite Meteorology and applications in Nowcasting (BRASMAN-2012)” 10th -21st Dec 2012, Air Force Administrative college Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, India.
