I was responsible to determine the Electromagnetic (EM) signature of an aircraft along the azimuth and elevation plane for different band of frequencies, Display the regions of higher signature and suggest reduction
Meshed the aircraft geometry using Hypermesh and analyzed using HF code. Displayed results using GUI and made presentations to electromagnetic experts.
Development of In-house EM simulation tools
I was responsible for the management of a project on Parallelization and GUI development of In-house Computational Electromagnetic (CEM) code. Provided the requirements with regard to parallelization and GUI development. Managed all activities involved with the project. Added modules in the code for the display of currents, to show path traced by a ray in a cavity structure, post process results.
Validation of In-house Computational Electromagnetics (CEM) with standard IEEE papers, commercial software's such as CST studio, FEKO, VIRAF for benchmarks. Implemented the papers and compared the results with measurement . Displayed results using MATLAB, EXCEL. Managed all activities involved with fabrication for comparison of simulated results with measurement data.
I modeled, meshed, analyzed canonical geometries, cylindrical duct, S-duct and compared with the published results.
Study the scattering characteristics of second order features, Analyze cracks, gaps etc and compare with Measurements. Analyzed all features such as gaps, cracks, surface discontinuities provided. Coordinated activities of fabrication.
