As Satellite System Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all technical aspects of the satellite and launcher interface are satisfactorily addressed and completed as well as for the coordination of the technical teams, meetings and reviews.

What You’ll Do:
- Monitor and control the technical work of industry relating to design, development, production and assembly integration and test (AIT) at subsystem and system levels to ensure that the agreed Contractual Requirements are met. Review and approve the satellite Design, Development and Test Plan and AIT Plan.
- Define and coordinate the specific engineering support activities at system level for all aspects of the satellite. Monitor and control the interfaces between the sub-systems and satellite/launcher.
- Coordinate the support to design reviews and evaluate declared compliance versus system level requirements. Closely monitor and control all system level budgets and establish and maintain up to date versions of the budget analyses.
- Provide support to in-orbit operations including LEOP and IOT.
- Support Eutelsat’s Satellite Programme Manager in negotiations of technical aspects of satellite and launcher contract.
- Provide support and expertise to anomaly and failure reviews at all levels (equipment, sub-system and in orbit), and develop solutions/resolutions to the problems.
- During proposal or study phases, assess technical solutions and provide recommendations from technical standpoint to support decision making, applicable but not limited to GEO satellite, LEO satellite including constellation, embarkation of hosted payload.
What it Takes:
- Master degree
- At least 10 years of experience in satellite engineering and design
- Good knowledge of satellite and constellation systems engineering, and ability to challenge and assess technical solutions
- Ability to coordinate activities of a technical Team
- Ability to work in a team.
- Excellent knowledge of English (B2 or higher).
