Job Description

We are looking for a Test Engineer at our Massy site, to support the rapid growth.

The Test Engineer performs the testing activities on space devices during their development as well as when major product changes have to be assessed. He/She plays a crucial role in concatenating and ensuring a proper verification, validation through test and qualification of the different Exotrail’s spaceware™ products.

Attached to the Technology Team, you will be responsible for:

• Defining the validation and verification strategy, including the qualification test strategy, with the help of the other disciplines;
• Organizing and planning the tests;
• Writing and executing the validation and verification plan, including the qualification plan;
• Producing test reports, tracing detected anomalies and contributing to eventual investigation;
• Ensuring the integrity of the test data packages (plans and reports);
• Establishing a technical interface with the other disciplines, such as system, mechanical, software, thermal, electronic, fluidics and plasma;
• Contributing to the standardization and amelioration of development and test processes.

Preferred Experience

• Previous hands-on experience with using test equipment and test benches;
• Basic knowledge in technical subjects (mechanical, electronics, thermal, system);
• Previous experience in handling or setting up automation systems;
• Experience in electric propulsion or space hardware is considered an asset;
• Good knowledge of how to use vacuum technologies is plus.
