Security:

In line with security requirements for the concerned missions of this position, the candidate has to hold a European citizenship. Evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process. Furthermore, in view of the nature of the work the company is in, all potential employees will undergo stringent reference and identity checks.

What you´ll do:

  • Provide routine operations support for flying missions' operational mission control systems;
  • Interface to multiple space agencies, companies and vendors within satellite/space business;
  • Develop relevant documentation for TT&C Ground Systems;
  • Support for Ground Network architecture planning and implementation;
  • Perform Ground Network operations;
  • Configure Ground Data Systems component;
  • Test and troubleshoot GDS interfaces;
  • Understand of customer requirements and further implementation of them;
  • Support LEOP for LEO, MEO and GEO missions (24/7 on-console support during the LEOP).

What we are looking for:

  • A degree in Telecommunication engineering or in a similar subject;
  • Solid networking background: TCP/IP, Internet protocols, data and voice transport technologies;
  • Understanding and usage of CCSDS ground and space link protocols (SLE, Cortex, NCTRS, etc.);
  • Understanding of TT&C Ground Systems;
  • Radio Frequency basics;
  • Fluent in English, both in speech and writing;
  • German language skills would be an asset.
