Job Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Project Manager - Ground Infrastructure Procurement to join our team and play a critical role in the successful deployment of on-ground infrastructure for our GEO and LEO satellite networks, including the IRIS2 European Constellation. In this position, you’ll work closely with technical experts, buyers, legal teams, and vendors, contributing directly to our ongoing projects and initiatives. What You’ll Do:

As part of the Engineering department, you will:

• Lead Project Management: Organize and coordinate activities to successfully deploy on-ground infrastructure for GEO and LEO networks, including hardware and software for RF, baseband, network, and mission control segments.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with Purchasing, Legal, and technical experts in Engineering and Operations to manage procurement processes and supplier selection.
• Oversee Procurement & Deployment: Manage the procurement and deployment processes according to project specifications, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Drive Supplier Engagement: Handle the RFP/RFI/RFQ processes, select suppliers, and manage contracts to ensure successful project outcomes.

What You’ll Need:

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

• A Master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Networks, Computer Science, or a related technical field;
• Experience in telecommunications and satellite telecommunications, with a strong understanding of satellite ground infrastructure;
• Proven experience in Project Management, particularly in procurement, risk management, and reporting;
• Hands-on experience with RFP/RFI/RFQ processes and other supplier selection methods;
• Strong skills in contract management, ensuring optimal performance while mitigating risks;
• A collaborative nature and the ability to communicate across multiple stakeholder levels and work across organizational boundaries;
• Fluency in English (both written and oral). Knowledge of French or any other languages is a plus.
