We are looking for skilled and motivated colleagues who are passionate about developing high-quality and elegant hardware engineering solutions for the leading European satellite missions.

What do we expect from you?

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a comparable education;
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of circuit design, analysis and commissioning, preferably in the aerospace sector;
• Very good experience in the field of circuit design, preparation of analyses and troubleshooting;
• As a plus: taking into account ECSS or other standards and usage of Altium Designer and Spice tools;
• Confident use of measurement instruments (oscilloscope);
• Initiative, enthusiasm and the ability to work in a team and on large projects;
• Resilience, confidence and the ability to work independently;
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and preferably also in German.

What are your responsibilities?

• Development of digital and analogue circuits for mass memory units, on board computers and instrument control units;
• Schematic design and optional PCB layout using Altium Designer with up to 18 layers HDI designs;
• (EEE) component selection for different models e.g. EM/EQM/℗FM;
• Perform simulations for circuit parts using tools such as PSpice, LT Spice or MathCad;
• Preparation of analysis documents, e.g. WCA, derating, reliability and power;
• Requirement engineering and close co-workmanship with the systems engineering;
• Initial operation and commissioning of developed circuits;
• Specification and execution of electrical and optional environmental test procedures.
