Your Mission:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Thermal Engineer to join our team. As a member of a cross-functional team, you will play a critical role in our satellite design, ensuring optimal thermal performance in the harsh and variable space environment.
You will contribute to the top-level design and requirement definition. Your expertise in thermal engineering will be invaluable in ensuring that all satellite components operate within temperature limits throughout their mission lifecycle.
- Responsible for analysis, conceptual sizing, and design of thermal control system
- Develop thermal models and conduct analyses to predict satellite thermal performance.
- Support thermal and thermal-vacuum testing of satellites and satellite sub-systems.
- Provide consultation to hardware developers in design decisions and material selection.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test reports.
- Manage thermal interfaces with external vendors and partners to ensure optimal thermal system performance.
Your Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in thermal system design, analysis, and testing.
- Knowledge of the design and lifecycle of satellites and their subsystems.
- Proficiency in thermal modeling and simulation tools such as Simcenter 3D.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
