Senior GNC Engineer
Space Inventor

We are seeking an experienced GNC Engineer for our rapidly growing satellite company. You’ll be working with different engineering teams to develop, mature and commission the next generation of AOCS products for Space Inventor’s satellites. Your Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate AOCS systems seamlessly into larger projects;
- Engineer solutions for complex attitude and orbit control challenges, from conception through implementation, ensuring precision, stability, and reliability;
- Simulate and test algorithms in real-world conditions, pushing the boundaries of innovation;
- Driving AOCS system engineering, covering requirements definition, system design, interface control, technical budgeting and V&V;
- Product development and ownership of Space Inventor sensor/actuator solutions;
- Supporting AIV and Satellite Operation activities.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Control Engineering or related fields;
- More than 8 years of experience in the field;
- Proven experience in GNC engineering for satellites, with a strong understanding of satellite subsystems and mission requirements;
- Proficiency in control system engineering tools and methodologies, including requirements management and system modeling;
- Skilled in designing and optimizing GNC algorithms with tools like MATLAB, Python or C++;
- Experience with MATLAB Robust Control is not required but appreciated;
- Experienced in dynamics, control theory, and sensor fusion;
- Experience in AOCS AIV, test planning, execution and result analysis;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail;
- Ability to work independently and take initiative;
- Familiarity with space industry standards and best practices (e.g., ECSS) is not required but appreciated.
