How will it be to work with us?

Operational Optimization:

• Analyze flight operations, identifying areas for improvement in terms of efficiency and performance;
• Implement strategies and improvements that enhance overall operational effectiveness, ensuring the best performance of Volotea’s fleet.

Technical Analysis & Support:

• Investigate and resolve operational challenges reported by flight crews, particularly related to aircraft performance, maintenance, and operational efficiency;
• Conduct in-depth performance studies on aircraft, ensuring they meet operational standards and are aligned with company goals for efficiency.

Process Improvement:

• Contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of operational procedures, including airport protocols and route analysis, aimed at improving overall fleet performance;
• Collaborate with internal teams to drive continuous improvement in operational workflows and systems.

Data-Driven Insights:

• Monitor key operational performance indicators (KPIs), providing actionable insights to senior management and teams to guide decision-making and operational adjustments;
• Leverage operational data to propose and implement new initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing the overall performance of Volotea’s operations.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

• Work closely with internal departments, including flight operations, maintenance, and technical teams, to support smooth and efficient day-to-day operations;
• Build relationships with external suppliers and partners, ensuring the effective implementation of operational improvement projects.

Regulatory Compliance & Safety:

• Ensure compliance with all relevant aviation regulations, internal standards, and safety protocols in every aspect of flight operations;
• Assist in the development of new processes or procedures to meet evolving regulatory requirements and operational needs.

Ready to join us?

What will make you succeed in this position:

• Aerospace Engineer with previous experience in flight operations, with a focus on aircraft performance, operational processes, or continuous improvement;
• Strong technical knowledge of flight operations, aircraft systems, and performance metrics;
• Proven ability to analyze operational data and implement strategies that lead to improved efficiency and cost savings;
• Hands-on experience in process optimization, airport operations, and route analysis;
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with the ability to make data-driven decisions;
• Proficiency in performance monitoring systems and aircraft navigation databases;
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional language skills (Spanish, French, or Italian) are a plus.
