Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect specializing in Aerospace and Defense to join our team in Linköping, Sweden. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions that meet the complex needs of our aerospace and defense clients.

• Develop and maintain enterprise-level solution architectures for aerospace and defense projects;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications;
• Design scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based solutions using platforms like AWS and Azure;
• Lead the evaluation and integration of new technologies to enhance our product offerings;
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects and development teams;
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all solution designs;
• Present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
• Participate in pre-sales activities and contribute to proposal development;
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in the aerospace and defense sector;
• Readily discuss practical examples of unlocking customer value in a business context, in an impactful and relevant way (benchmarked, proven value).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
• 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, with at least 5 years in the aerospace and defense industry;
• Proven track record of successful large-scale project implementations;
• Expertise in cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS and Azure;
• Proficiency in systems engineering principles and software development methodologies;
• Advanced skills in data modeling and analysis;
• Excellent project management abilities;
• In-depth understanding of aerospace and defense industry, including military systems and requirements;
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards in the defense sector;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail;
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities;
• Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances may be required.
