What you will do:

• Review, analyse, design and test GNC algorithms for aerospace vehicles and systems;
• Design, implement and validate simulation models, facilities and infrastructures;
• Set-up, execute and document simulation and testing campaigns;
• Document the work carried out and contribute to project datapackages;
• Review, analyze and write GNC-related specifications;
• Generate autocoded GNC SW;
• Contribute to the preparation of proposals.

What we expect from you:

• Engineering Degree;
• At least 7 years of experience as key participant to GNC-related projects, preferably in the frame of Space and Defense programmes;
• Mandatory: Good MATLAB/Simulink knowledge;
• Proven background and expertise in at least one of the three GNC fields (Guidance, Navigation and/or Control);
• Expertise with one or more of the following techniques: Kalman/Unscented/Hinfinity filtering, inertial navigation, sensor hybridization, optimal control, convex optimization, non-linear programming, model predictive control, classical control theory, robust control, sliding mode control, hinfinity control synthesis;
• Knowledge of flight mechanics, orbital mechanics;
• Knowledge of signal treatment and statistics theory are appreciated;
• Good mathematical capability;
• Good problem-solving capability;
• Team player;
• Capable of presenting the output of the work carried out in a clear way;
• Capable of autonomous activity within a defined Work Package;
• Proactive and willing to grow and take increasing responsibility over time;
• High level of English.
