As the Team Lead Prototyping, you will lead a team responsible for the prototyping and validation of UAV systems and subsystems. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and safety of our cutting-edge aerial platforms. Your team will be at the forefront of testing new hardware, prototypes and contributing to continuous product improvements.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

• Lead and mentor a team of four system test engineers and two prototyping specialists.
• Develop and execute test plans for UAV hardware and software, including performance, durability, and safety tests.
• Design and supervise the prototyping of UAV systems and subsystems.
• Analyze test data and provide recommendations for design and system enhancements.
• Manage test environments, including field testing and lab testing setups.
• Provide technical reports and documentation on test results and system improvements.

What you bring to the team:

• Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in system testing, prototyping, or a related field, preferably in UAVs, robotics, or aerospace.
• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
• Strong understanding of prototyping, system validation and debugging methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of UAV flight dynamics, mechanics, aerodynamics and embedded systems.
• Hands-on experience with sensors, avionics and communication systems.
• Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB).
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as FAA, EASA, or military standards is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail is a must.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
