Your impact:

We are seeking a Director of Infrastructure Software Engineering to lead our software development teams and shape the future of our satellite global LEO GEO infrastructure. This role is critical to driving innovation, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions, and aligning technology with the company’s strategic objectives.

As Director, you will lead by example, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our software products meet business needs, exceed internal customer expectations, and advance our mission to operate LEO-GEO connectivity services around the world.

Your missions:

• Lead a high-performing engineering team through recruitment, mentoring, and professional development;
• Drive technical innovation and establish best practices in software development;
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable, reliable, and secure software systems that help to operate the LEO GEO infrastructure and services, and at the same time accelerate the time to market of new services;
• Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining the highest quality standards;
• Manage the engineering budget and resource allocation effectively;
• Partner with IT and other departments to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions;
• Represent the engineering function in executive discussions, providing insights on technology trends and opportunities.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a senior software engineering leadership role, ideally as a Director or equivalent and proven expertise in leading mission critical projects/programs in same industry, Satellite, or similar areospace;
• Strong technical background with expertise in cloud computing, microservices, software architecture design using any type of object oriented programming languages and not;
• Demonstrated ability to lead distributed teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment;
• Experience with Agile methodologies and modern software development practices;
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
• Passion for mentoring and growing engineering talent.
