AIT Electronic Engineer

Your mission
As an AIT Electronic Engineer, you will be an integral part of the full production process of SATLANTIS’ optical payloads. You’ll be a central member of the electronic production team, acting as a connector between electronics and the wider electronic production team.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- You will execute AIT processes including detector and electronics assembly, testing, and subsystem integration.
- You will contribute to the analysis and continuous improvement of AIT procedures and methodologies.
- You will manage and update technical documentation, procedures, and reports throughout the AIT process.
- You will actively coordinate the scheduling and execution of AIT activities.
- You will support task coordination across the electronic production team and align efforts with broader project goals.
- You will track and ensure compliance with electronic system requirements.
- You will assist the electronics department in preparing technical documentation and analysis.
What will set you up for success?
- You have 1–3 years of hands-on experience in electronics, preferably in aerospace, defense, or similarly rigorous industries.
- You communicate clearly and effectively across teams to ensure alignment and shared understanding.
- You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Physics or Aerospace Engineering.
- You have a fluent command of English, both spoken and written, enabling collaboration in international contexts.
You’ll stand out even more if you bring:
- Experience in engineering project coordination and/or managing team tasks and timelines.
- Strong leadership and clear communication skills, especially under time constraints.
- A sense of ownership and the confidence to make and defend engineering decisions.
- Direct experience working on space-related projects or missions.
