The role conducts operations of mission control systems for EUMETSAT and EUMETSAT-operated Copernicus satellite systems, coordinates system-wide activities related to the mission control systems for satellite monitoring and control, and supports the
Lead system engineering across the space and ground segment, ensuring a consistent end to end architectural approach; Own and maintain requirements integrity from customer needs through system, subsystem, and verification levels; Own system budgets
Depending on the mission, you will contribute to the development of new systems or support the evolution of existing ones, ensuring they remain reliable, scalable, and ready for the future. Contributing to integration, verification and validation (IV&V)
You focus on security architecture and risk-driven design for complex IT and software systems. You combine strong hands-on technical expertise with the ability to structure, justify and communicate security concepts at both technical and project level.
System level design of space and ground segments including requirements analysis, sensitivity analysis, mission analysis and design trade-offs. Working with the Sales and Engineering teams in support of bid/tender activities to generate technical
