We are looking for skilled and motivated colleagues who are passionate about developing high-quality and elegant hardware engineering solutions for the leading European satellite missions.

What do we expect from you?

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a comparable qualification;
• At least 5 years of professional experience in circuit design, ideally within the aerospace sector;
• Strong expertise in circuit design, PCB design as a plus;
• Experience with Altium Designer and Spice simulation tools is an advantage;
• High level of enthusiasm, initiative and strong team spirit;
• Ability to collaborate effectively in large-scale projects;
• Resilience, confidence and the ability to work independently;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and preferably also in German.

What are your responsibilities?

• Develop and design of high speed and digital electronics including:
  • Programmable logics and processors, like FPGAs and CPUs;
  • Memories, like DDR, SRAM, MRAM and Flash;
  • External Interfaces, like SpaceWire, WizardLink, Mil-Std-1553 Bus, RS422, UART, JTAG.
• Select suitable (EEE) parts for various models;
• Drive requirements engineering in close collaboration with Systems Engineering;
• Prepare detailed block diagrams and circuit schematics using Altium Designer;
• Conduct analyses such as worst case, derating, reliability and power;
• Perform circuit simulations with tools such as PSpice or LTSpice;
• Support prototyping, bring-up and commissioning of developed circuits;
• Develop and document electrical test procedures;
• Contribute to design reviews and support parallel project activities.
