Mission Brief

Your Role in Our Space Mission:

  • Configuration Management:
    • Piloting the configuration management process for the launcher system
    • Authorizing proposed modifications in program committees
    • Approving Operator responsibility instruction files in accordance with the Law on Space Operations, utilizing internal expertise
  • Monitoring the production of launchers and their sub-assemblies in order to:
    • Provide positive contributions as the launch operator to the industrial process
    • Anticipate, assess, and resolve specific challenges (specific missions, modifications, anomalies, induced impacts on other launch systems, etc.)
  • Flight experience feedback:
    • Organizing and facilitating of the post-flight analysis process and the associated steering committee
    • Validating anomaly sheets, reports and/or presentations, based on internal expertise
    • Overseeing and validating the processing and closure of technical issues
    • Participating in working groups in response to major anomalies
  • Adaptation of the launcher to the mission:
    • Contributing to the definition and monitoring of the development of specific hardware and/or software required for mission achievement, ensuring alignment with other departments' activities
  • Leading the process of justifying the flight capability of the launcher system as Deputy/Launch Director during a launch campaign.
  • Technical contribution to the construction of the flight suitability file:
    • Reviewing anomalies and exemptions presented during preparatory campaign milestones, formal reviews (FRR, LRR), or technical committees, and supporting the overall control and validation process

Qualification Checklist

  • Graduate of an engineering school or equivalent European university, with at least five years of experience in the space sector, particularly in the field of launchers
  • Expertise in electrical and/or propulsive systems and/or integration of launchers
  • In-depth knowledge of launch operations
  • Familiarity with laws and regulations applicable to space operations
  • Demonstrated autonomy and a solution-oriented mindset
