What You ‘ll Be Doing

• Participation in the entire design and development cycle of ground systems that support the command and control of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) for defense and security applications.
• The role is instrumental in delivering robust, secure, and mission-ready command-and-control systems that interface seamlessly within UAS platforms.
• Collaborate across interdisciplinary engineering teams to ensure end-to-end integration.
• Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) of unmanned aircraft systems and their subsystems.
• Physical, logical, functional architecture design and modeling.
• Working with cross functional teams for the analysis, definition, allocation and traceability of system requirements and architectures.
• Coordination of design and development activities over the complete system engineering lifecycle.
• Preparation of system documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

• University Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Systems Engineering or related discipline.
• More than three (3) years of systems engineering experience (in architecture and design, requirements, documentation, CONOPS, integration and verification).
• Understanding of wireless communication systems, ICT and networking equipment.
• Familiarity with electrical power distribution and lightning protection.

Desired:

• Experience with engineering requirements management tools, e.g. DOORS.
• Experience in human factors engineering.
• Experience modeling complex systems using MBSE SysML tools.
