Aerodynamics UAV Engineer

We are looking for a Aerodynamics UAV Engineer with the mission to design, develop and optimize UAV systems and components.

Tasks to be performed:

• Aerodynamic design of UAV platforms, both fixed-wing and rotary-wing;
• Knowledge of aerodynamic simulation tools (XFLR5/FLUENT/OPENFOAM) is highly valued;
• Preparation of technical and manufacturing documentation for UAV platforms;
• Preparation and execution of UAV test plans, both in the laboratory and in flight.

Required skills, experience and candidate profile:

• Aeronautical or industrial engineering;
• Minimum 3 years' experience in UAV platforms;
• Experience with Catia or SolidWorks design software;
• Knowledge of aerodynamic calculations and flight mechanics is essential;
• Experience with Matlab, Python or similar sofware environments for aircraft modelling;
• Knowledge of assembly, manufacturing and maintenance processes for UAV platforms;
• Knowledge of drone piloting is valued;
• Knowledge of aerodynamic simulation tools (XFLR5/FLUENT/OPENFOAM) is valued;
• Level B2-C1 English.
